UK Approach Control Surveillance (APS 1-15)
From January 5th to march 13th 2015
The Approach Control Surveillance Course provides a comprehensive grounding to approach control surveillance operations and will provide successful entrants with the confidence to manage complex traffic situations.
The course will equip entrants with the skills required to confidently deal with traffic in the event of a radar failure and introduces the concept of teamwork as a significant part of the simulation exercises.
After successfully completing the theory and practical course subjects, a certificate of competency will be awarded and entrants can apply for a student licence and enter the Unit Training phase of their development.
